We stopped and looked at him; he was enormous! We live in the Barona Mesa Estates in Ramona, located on the edge of Cleveland National Forest. We see vultures and hawks all of the time, but this is one of the few times that we have seen the eagle. One night we heard a scream or shriek. Something killed our neighbors male peacock and dropped it over our 6 foot fence in the middle of our property(about 20 yards from the fence). We didn't know if it was the owls behind us, but now believe it was an eagle. @Judy

And that the area is supposed to be in a no fly zone, but there are helicopters flyng over it as recent as yesterday.
